Karobari collects zero advertising identifiers, sells zero user data to third parties, and operates on local device storage first. Camera permissions are strictly limited to active barcode scanning.
Data Collection Disclosures
- Mobile number
- Used as your account login ID. Verifications are sent via single-use OTP codes. Sent only to SMS gateway provider to deliver your authentication OTP.
- Shop Details & Address Pin
- Identifies your store catalog on the web showcase and Google Maps locator. Displayed publicly on your shop profile if you enable public listing.
- Local Billing & Udhaar Records
- Core POS functionality: tracking sales, stock levels, and customer credit ledger. Never shared, never sold, and never sent to third-party ad networks.
- Phone Model & App Version
- Hardware manufacturer, model, and OS version for diagnostic debugging. Used internally for device compatibility testing and crash reports.
Camera & Location Access
Camera Permission
Camera access is requested solely for reading item barcodes during stock upload or billing. Images are never saved or transmitted off-device.
Local Device Data Security
Your store ledger and bill records are encrypted on your local Android device via SQLite. Network loss or server maintenance will never compromise your ability to bill customers.
Account Deletion & Data Rights
You may request complete account deletion at any time in-app or via our public Account Deletion Hub. Requests are processed within 30 days.
