WHAT SHIPPED

Every release, dated.

The build number beside each one is the number in your phone's Settings, so you can tell what you are actually running. Nothing on this page is a plan.

  1. 1.18.25Build 44

    Production

Manager role delegation, instant MRP discount calculations, and counter speed polish.

    • Manager Role & Granular Delegation: Assign trusted managers to oversee daily turnover, operational reports, udhaar ledgers, CSV inventory imports, and shelf arrangements while keeping owner-only credentials safe.
    • Instant MRP Cut & Automatic Customer Savings: Enter an optional packet MRP; receipts automatically display the struck-through MRP (~~₹100~~ ₹80), percentage discount, unit savings, and a highlighted customer savings banner.
    • Quick Amount Dual-Action (+ Sale / − Deduction): Tap + to ring up uncatalogued items or − to apply instant bill deductions with real-time cart validation.
    • Direct WhatsApp Delivery: 1-click WhatsApp bill dispatch directly on bill cards when a customer phone number is present on the sale.
    • Designated Default Counter QR: Mark any UPI QR code as the counter default; billing checkout auto-selects the designated default QR code instantly.
    • Intelligent Device Guidance: Web till detects mobile devices and guides users to the native Google Play app for offline durability and thermal printing.
  2. 1.4.5Build 17

    Production

Trade-tailored receipts, standardized payment QR, and counter security.

    • Standardized UPI Payment QR dimensions (96px on 58mm, 116px on 80mm, 128px on A5) with high-contrast quiet margins for zero camera autofocus scan failures.
    • Domain-tailored receipt layouts: Pharmacy Rx emblem with Doctor, Patient, D.L. No, and Schedule H caution; Kirana FSSAI with unit weights and savings banner; Apparel sizes and HSN tags; Restaurant Table and Token numbers; Electronics serial/IMEI and warranty terms.
    • Interactive Trade Specimen switcher in Receipt Setup to preview any retail sector layout before printing.
    • Web Bluetooth and WebUSB zero-driver direct ESC/POS thermal printing across desktop and Android browsers.
    • Biometric counter login (Windows Hello, Touch ID, Android fingerprint) with PIN fallback and self-service emergency recovery.
    • Warehouse stock transfers between multiple locations and supplier purchase order management.
    • Privacy Mode: press H to instantly mask margins, cost prices, and revenue figures when customers stand at the counter.
  3. 1.4.0Build 15

    Production

Desktop Web Till, 59 live trades & high-speed thermal printing.

    • The Karobari Web Till is live at app.karobariapp.in — full counter billing on PC/laptop browsers with keyboard shortcuts (F2 checkout, Space search).
    • Direct WebUSB & ESC/POS thermal printing for 58mm and 80mm receipt printers with zero drivers.
    • Dual-screen Customer Display mode turns any secondary monitor into a live customer checkout board.
    • Expanded live profession registry to 59 trades including full support for Restaurant/Food Service, Supermarket/Mart, Hardware & Building, and Auto Workshop.
    • Dual payment tenders: split billing across cash + UPI on the same receipt, and customer advance deposits.
    • High-speed barcode scanner with custom 50×25mm shelf sticker generation.
  4. 1.3.1Build 12

    Staged

Room to type on a small phone.

    • The navigation bar gets out of the way while the keyboard is open, so a 5-inch screen has room for the field you are filling in.
    • The field you tapped scrolls into view instead of sitting behind the keyboard.
    • The sign-in screen stands down its medallion when the keyboard comes up.
  5. 1.3.0Build 11

    Closed testing

Find any bill, with no signal.

    • Search bills, quotations and udhaar records instantly while offline — the search runs on the phone, so it works at the same speed with no bars.
    • The app prefetches what it needs to be usable offline, rather than discovering the gap when the tower drops.
    • The keyboard reveals action cards instead of covering them.
    • Link the browser till to your phone by scanning a QR code.
    • The help guides are inside Settings, not only on the website.
  6. 1.2.0Build 9

    Closed testing

A dark counter, and a khata you can correct.

    • A dark ground for a shop lit by one tube light, and a theme picker with five choices.
    • Camera and gallery access for item photos, with the permission asked for at the moment it is used.
    • A scan button you can drag to wherever your thumb actually is.
    • Correct or remove a khata entry — a mistyped udhaar amount was previously permanent.
    • Starter shelves arrive in the language you are reading the app in.
    • In-app updates, so a fix reaches your counter without a trip to the Play Store.
  7. 1.1.0Build 6

    Closed testing

Five receipt designs, and the udhaar book grown up.

    • Five receipt designs to choose between, with your shop's own details on all of them.
    • The udhaar list groups by how old a balance is, and settled customers can be archived out of the way.
    • Stock screens fit more rows on a screen, and the shop photo can be set.
    • Your records — bills, khata and stock — exportable from Settings.
    • A billing button that follows you across the app.
    • The app shows its own version number, so a support conversation can start with a fact.
  8. 1.0.4Build 5

    Closed testing

The app learns your trade's words.

    • The app uses your trade's vocabulary and opens on the figure that matters for it — a hardware shop opens on what is owed, not on today's sales.
    • Per-person permissions for staff, including whether they may edit a price.
    • A prompt to take a backup before it is needed rather than after.
  9. 1.0.1Build 2

    Closed testing

The first build a shopkeeper outside the team could install.

    • First closed-testing release on Play Console.
    • Sign-in by phone number, offline billing, stock and the udhaar khata.
ABOUT THIS LIST

Why the numbers are small

The version numbers are the app's own and are not inflated to look established.

Every row is a build that exists and went somewhere real — most of them to closed testing, which is a small group of shops rather than the Play Store. When a release reaches production this page will say Production against it and not before.
