Make a bill
The counter flow, MRP cut & savings, quick amounts (+/−), GST, and offline queueing.

- Open Bill and tap the items or scan barcodes with your phone camera. Search by name if the shelf is long.
- Change a quantity by tapping it. If an item has an MRP, struck-through MRP and customer savings update live as you bill.
- For loose sundries or manual adjustments, tap Quick Amount and choose '+' to add a charge or '−' to subtract an instant deduction.
- Tap the total to take payment. Choose cash, UPI with your default counter QR, udhaar, or a split.
- Hand over the receipt — 1-click WhatsApp with pre-filled savings summary, PDF download, image slip, or instant 58mm/80mm thermal print.
MRP strikethrough & customer savings
When you add an item with an MRP (or scan a preloaded catalog item), Karobari automatically strikes through the printed MRP and highlights your counter selling price — for example, ~~MRP: ₹120~~ ₹99. The receipt displays a prominent customer savings banner showing the total amount saved (e.g. “Total Customer Savings: ₹21 · 17% OFF”). For loose unbranded goods with no MRP, the price displays cleanly without visual clutter.
Quick amount sales and deductions
When you need to ring up miscellaneous counter items without creating a permanent inventory entry, use the Quick Amount tool on the till. Enter the rupees and tap '+' to add a generic item charge, or tap '−' to apply an instant deduction directly to the running bill.
Discounts
On the payment sheet, tap “Give a discount” and type either a rupee amount or a percentage. Anyone who can bill can give one — that is bargaining, and it is normal. It never changes the shelf price.
GST
GST is off until you enter a GSTIN in Settings → Shop. Once you do, a switch appears on the payment sheet for the bills that need it. The tax comes out of the price you already charge rather than being added on top — Indian shop prices are MRP-inclusive, and adding tax on top would quietly overcharge every customer.
No network
Billing does not change. The bill is written to the phone and uploaded when the signal returns. Today shows how many changes are waiting; you can send them yourself, or leave it alone and it happens on its own.
