Add staff and manager roles

Shop → Staff. Add a team member, choose their role, and assign a 4-digit PIN. At the counter they tap “Switch user” and bill under their own name, on the same phone or counter terminal.

Cashier (Staff) vs Manager roles

Karobari separates routine cashiering from supervisory store duties. Cashiers (Staff) can only ring up sales under their own PIN. They never see the store's total takings, purchase margins, other staff members' sales, or the customer udhaar ledger.

For trusted supervisors, assign the Manager role. Managers can view daily turnover summaries and sales reports, oversee the udhaar ledger, run CSV bulk stock imports, and reorder catalog sections. Sensitive owner operations (such as deleting the shop or resetting account credentials) remain strictly restricted to the Shop Owner.

Price edits

Changing a catalog shelf price is a separate permission granted per person — “Allow price edits” — and is turned off by default. Cashiers can still grant an in-moment bargaining discount on the active bill without being able to alter the catalog price for the whole store.

Removing someone

Revoke the membership and their access stops at their next request. Their past bills stay, with their name on them, because those are your shop's records.
