Two units on one bill, and no money changes hands — he settles when the site is done. What you need at that moment is not a receipt, it is the number he is already carrying, and it is on the screen before you agree.
Billing App for Paint ShopA paint counter, and the painter who pays after the job
लीटर, किलो — और पेंटर का चलता खाता, जो मकान पूरा होने पर चुकता होता है।
Litres, kilos and a painter's running account — settled when the house is finished, not today.

A painter takes four litres of emulsion and two kilos of putty
A paint shop opens on **udhaar outstanding**, not today's sales. Paint moves through painters and contractors who pay by the job, so the figure that decides your week is what is out, not what came in this morning.
Three things that are different here
Personalisation in this product is defaults, a bounded set of tools, and vocabulary — never a separate app per trade. What follows is the whole of what changes.
Litres lead, and putty is still kilos
The unit list opens with litre and millilitre, then piece, then kilo — because a tin is a litre, a stainer is millilitres, a brush is one thing and putty is weighed. Four units on one counter, all four on one bill.
Marked as selling to trade
A paint shop's customer is usually somebody buying to work with, not to use once. The shop can be set as trade-facing, and what the app assumes about the person in front of you follows from that.
The account is the product
The khata is one tap off the payment sheet, the balance is worked out from entries rather than overwritten, and it is owner-only in the data model — so the boy at the counter can sell four litres without reading what the contractor owes you.
What a paint gets on the first screen
Not a demo. This is the actual configuration the app applies when you pick Paint at sign-up — the same data the app itself reads.
The units, in this order
- Litre
- Ml
- Piece
- Kg
The first one is the default, because it is what this trade sells most of. Every quantity in the app carries its unit — there is no bare number anywhere.
The tools this turns on
- Stock, in units
- Wholesale pricing
And nothing else. A trade is only offered at sign-up once every tool it needs has actually shipped — 59 of 172 trades pass that test today.
The items it starts you with
Tap to add, then set your own price. They are a guess at your shelf and you will correct some of them — that is expected, and it is why they live on the server rather than inside an app release.

Twelve of 24. The rest of the pack is in the app — this table is here so you can check the list is really your shelf, and a dozen rows settles that faster than 24 does.
Low-stock warnings start at 5, which is a starting point for this trade rather than a rule. Change it per item.
58 others have a page, and 59 trades are live
Each of these is a different unit list, a different set of tools and a different first figure — not this page with a word swapped. The nearest ones first.
Try it on your counter
Free, on Google Play, and set up by you in the time it takes to put ten items in — the ones you sell most. The rest of the shelf goes in as it sells.
