They do not pay each time and they never have. The khata carries the month, and the app can send the reminder from your own WhatsApp number when it is time.
Billing App for Dairy ShopA dairy counter, where the shelf life is one day
लीटर, किलो — और वे तारीख़ें जो कल ही मायने रखती हैं। महीने का उधार अलग।
Litres, kilos and dates that matter tomorrow — with the khata your regulars settle monthly.

The same twelve houses, twice a day
A dairy opens on today's sales, because the day is the cycle here — two rushes, and a shelf that has to be cleared before the second one.
Three things that are different here
Personalisation in this product is defaults, a bounded set of tools, and vocabulary — never a separate app per trade. What follows is the whole of what changes.
Litres first
Then millilitres, then pieces, then kilos. Milk is a litre, paneer is grams, bread is a piece, and curd is sold by weight — four units on one counter.
Expiry measured in hours, not months
Batch dates are on for a dairy, and the alerts matter more here than anywhere except a chemist, because the loss is today rather than next quarter.
The monthly khata is the business
A dairy's udhaar is not a favour to an occasional customer, it is how nearly every regular pays. The ledger is built for that shape and stays owner-only.
What a dairy shop gets on the first screen
Not a demo. This is the actual configuration the app applies when you pick Dairy shop at sign-up — the same data the app itself reads.
The units, in this order
- Litre
- Ml
- Piece
- Kg
The first one is the default, because it is what this trade sells most of. Every quantity in the app carries its unit — there is no bare number anywhere.
The tools this turns on
- Stock, in units
- Batch and expiry dates
And nothing else. A trade is only offered at sign-up once every tool it needs has actually shipped — 59 of 172 trades pass that test today.
The items it starts you with
Tap to add, then set your own price. They are a guess at your shelf and you will correct some of them — that is expected, and it is why they live on the server rather than inside an app release.

Twelve of 24. The rest of the pack is in the app — this table is here so you can check the list is really your shelf, and a dozen rows settles that faster than 24 does.
Low-stock warnings start at 5, which is a starting point for this trade rather than a rule. Change it per item.
58 others have a page, and 59 trades are live
Each of these is a different unit list, a different set of tools and a different first figure — not this page with a word swapped. The nearest ones first.
Try it on your counter
Free, on Google Play, and set up by you in the time it takes to put ten items in — the ones you sell most. The rest of the shelf goes in as it sells.
