What usually brings someone to this page
You want a bill that does not wait. A server-first till treats a sale as a request, so with the tower down it becomes a spinner, a refused write, or a local cache with a limit somewhere in it — and the design you actually bought is the thing you find out about during the outage, at the front of a queue.
For context rather than as a claim about any particular build: a cloud-first GST billing app, where the total, the bill number and the stock decrement are typically decided by a server the phone has to reach. Everything below this line is about Karobari.
Three things, all of them checkable today
Nothing here is a plan or a next release. Each one is behaviour you can put a phone in aeroplane mode and confirm within a minute of installing.
The bill number is decided on your phone
Not requested from anywhere. The number comes from your shop's own sequence, held locally, so bill forty-one is bill forty-one whether or not anything reaches a server that evening. This is the piece a cloud-first design cannot move offline without changing what a bill number means.
A sale made offline is never rejected when it syncs
If the count disagrees by the time it reaches the server, the sale still stands. Stock clamps at zero, the difference is flagged, and you are asked to recount that one item when you have a minute — never a silent correction, and never a sale cancelled hours after the goods left the shop.
GST is off until you want it
Enter your GSTIN in Settings and a GST switch appears on the payment sheet for the bills that need it. Tax comes out of the price you already charge rather than being added on top, because Indian shop prices are MRP-inclusive and adding it on top quietly overcharges every customer.
Your shelf does not get typed in again
Export your items to CSV and bring the file in from Stock → bring in a list. `Product`, `Item Name`, `Rate`, `Selling Price`, `Qty`, `Stock`, `Unit`, `Barcode`, `GST Rate` and `MRP` are all recognised under those spellings and several others, in any column order. 2,000 rows, create-only, and an unrecognised unit is reported as a row error rather than quietly filed as a piece — a quantity against the wrong unit is worse than a row you have to fix.
The same screen takes text you paste rather than a file — a supplier's WhatsApp message, or a list an assistant handed back — and strips the sentence above it and the sign-off below it before reading. Nobody has to produce a clean file to get started.
Why there is no comparison table on it
A matrix with somebody else's name down one column is a set of claims about a product we do not build and cannot track, and it ages into a lie the first time they ship. So this site does not keep one. myBillBook is named here because it is the word you searched for, and for no other reason — every statement above is about Karobari, including the long one about what it will not do for you.
If you want the underlying argument without a brand attached to it, the four scenario pages are the honest version: one evening in a shop, answered for this app, for the paper book, and for the category most likely to be the alternative.
